CANCELLATION POLICY

This event follows the standard Girl Guides Queensland Event & Training Cancellation Policy. In addition to the standard policy, Girl Guides Queensland takes no responsibility for any costs associated with flight bookings or other personal travel arrangements should the event be cancelled or if a participant withdraws. We recommend booking flexible travel options where possible.

By completing this registration, you have acknowledged that you have been informed of the below GGQ Event and Training Cancellation Policy.

A CANCELLATION FEE WILL APPLY

Cancellation policy for Girl Guides Queensland state events and trainings where non-subsidised registration fees are applicable, and/or where specific event and training registration information does not provide details. (As of September 2024)

If you submit written notice of withdrawal for events via [email protected], or for training via [email protected] on or before the close of registration date, you will receive a 90% refund on the registration fee (10% admin fee will be retained). NOT applicable to merchandise purchased, food and/or accommodation paid in advance.
Withdrawals made after the registration closing date are not eligible for a refund.
If Girl Guides Queensland cancels the event, a full refund will be provided.

For special consideration under exceptional circumstances, please email [email protected] for state events or [email protected] for training sessions or workshops.

COMPLIANCE

Safety is number one for everyone and critically includes events – as from 1 September 2024, all Adult members and Ongoing Volunteers must be fully compliant and financial before attending an event or training where Youth Members are present.

National Police Check
Blue Card
GG Learning Modules
- CSCF Adults in Guiding (All adult members)
- CSCF Leaders and Managers (All Leaders and Managers)
- Privacy Awareness (All Managers)
Signed Code of Conduct
Signed Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement
A current financial status for the event/training

All registrations will go through a compliance check and non-compliance will be address with email request to resolve missing compliance pieces. Failure to adhere to these requirements will result in termination of registration, barred attendance until rectified and no refund.
