Girl Guides Queensland’s State Commissioner Handover Event:

When:                Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 March 2020

Where:               PGL Kindilan (Cnr Days Rd and German Church Road, Redland Bay, 4165)

  • SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT - Due to popular demand, a new ticket category has been created - ‘The Ceremony Ticket’ (This ticket allows Members to attend all festivities and Dinner from 3.30 pm to 9.00 pm on Saturday 21 March 2020 at a cost of $20.00 per person)  
  • Entry to event - only pre-purchased ticket holders will be permitted entry to the event
  • The ‘Guide Shop’ will be available between 11.00 am and 2.30 pm on Saturday 21 March 2020
  • Leaders and Units have the option of a Day Pass (Saturday only, commencing at 7.00 am)
  • Every attendee will receive a special commemorative badge

    Leaders and Units have the option of Day Pass (Saturday only) or spending the weekend at PGL Kindilan (access available from 5.00pm Friday 20 March 2020).

    Accommodation available includes:

    • Indoor camping (limited)

    • Outdoor camping (BYO camping equipment)

    Additional Information:

    • Limited space available for Indoor camping
    • First Aiders will be present in each campsite and in each building
    • Online registration can be done for multiple attendees in one transaction, however, the person registering the attendees must have personal details (including: full name, membership number, emergency contact name and number, medical conditions, dietary requirements and media consent) of each attendee
    • ADM 27/ADM 28 and Health Forms are required to be sent to Julie Black ( following registrations (this needs to be done for all youth and Leaders registered)
    • If you have youth or Leaders attending without their Units, please organise for them to join with an attending District or Unit - if you experience difficulties contact Julie Black (
    • All catering for Day Pass and weekend attendees is provided
    • Please note, there is a 2.5% surcharge fee per booking (this is noted as VAT in the booking system)
    • Leaders attending will be required to assist with various roles during the weekend - these may include supervision of activities, serving of meals etc.
    • **Youth and Leaders arriving on Friday evening will need to provide their own Dinner
