Canoe and Kayak Skills – Basic Skills, Skills Update, Trefoil 3 Boating

This is a weekend training to assist all members aged 14 and over (including Leaders) to gain a canoeing qualification or to upgrade their current water skills.

Open to:

- Adult members wishing to work towards completing Basic canoeing/kayaking skills before working towards Conduct canoeing/kayaking activities

- Adult members wishing to work towards updating current Basic or Conduct canoeing/kayaking skills

- Youth members (14+) wishing to work towards Boating Trefoil 3 – Canoeing

Practical training will be at the Coomera River or Hinze Dam. 

Pre-requisites:

Canoe and Kayak Skills Theory

Arrival: 8:30am Saturday

Depart: 2:00pm Sunday

Catering:

Saturday Night will be catered for so please make sure to put your dietary requirements on the ADM form.

Please bring your own lunches, snacks and breakfast food.

 Accommodation will be indoors. Kit list to be issued closer to date of training.
