First Aid Training

Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah Staying Alive.....make sure you book in for your annual CPR or PEBLS course or full first aid for those planning on camping. 

Please note that in order the complete your First Aid qualification and receive a certificate, you will need to provide your Government allocated Unique Student Identifier (USI). Your qualification information will be added to your national database records.  If you do not have a USI please apply for your number before registering to the First Aid training. You will need to add this number in the question asked as you register. For more information about USIs and how to apply for one, please click here: http://www.usi.gov.au

Minimum First Aid requirement for Leaders is PBELS (Provide basic emergency life support).
Leaders who hold Outdoor Qualifications: e.g Camping and Water, must hold a full Provide First Aid qualification.

 

Cost:

Leaders/Managers are fully subsidised for First Aid training, however you have the option of making a personal donation, or to pay for the training and be reimbursed by your employer (see Registration Option 4).

Volunteers and members are able to access First Aid Training at a minimal cost indicated under Registration Options.

 

 

What does the training cover? - 

PBELS includes CPR.  Other course components –

cardiac conditions, including chest pain
choking
shock
stroke.


PFA includes CPR.  Other course components –

allergic reaction
anaphylaxis
asthma
non-life-threatening and life-threatening bleeding
burns
cardiac conditions, including chest pain
choking
diabetes
drowning
envenomation - all current treatments
eye injuries
fractures, dislocations, strains and sprains
head, neck and spinal injuries
hypothermia
hyperthermia
minor wounds
nose-bleed
poisoning
seizures
shock
sharps injuries
stroke

Leader/Managers - make a personal donation or pay and be reimbursed by your employer, or other.

As a Leader/Manager you have access to First Aid Training at no charge. If you still wish to make a personal donation, or pay for the cost of the training and be reimbursed by your employer, click here and proceed to the Program section below.

3. select the appropriate Registration Option and complete the required questions
4. Then select Proceed to Checkout to go to the Shopping Cart
5. select Submit Order to finalise your registration.
6. Please check your emails for confirmation of your registration. If you did not receive a confirmation email your registration may not be complete.
