Canoe and Kayak Skills-Basic Skills, Update, Trefoil 3

This training weekend is designed to assist all members aged 14 and over (including Leaders) to gain a canoeing qualification, or to upgrade their current water skills.

Open to:

  • Adult members wishing to work towards completing Basic canoeing/kayaking skills before working towards Conduct Canoeing/Kayaking activities
  • Adult members wishing to work towards updating current Basic or Conduct Canoeing/Kayaking skills
  • Youth members wishing to work towards Boating Trefoil 3 – Canoeing

 

Practical training will be at Coomera River or Hinze Dam.

 

Dates:

Saturday, 18 March 8.30am – Sunday, 19 March 2:00pm

 

(Optional - arrive Friday night, 17 March 2023 and stay at Labrador Guide Hut)

 

Cost : Training registration fee - $70.00
