First Aid Training Information
Please note that in order to complete your First Aid qualification and receive a certificate, you will need to provide your Government allocated Unique Student Identifier (USI). Your qualification information will be added to your national database records. If you do not have a USI please apply for your number before registering to the First Aid training. You will need to add this number in the question asked as you register.
The minimum First Aid requirement for Leaders is:
HLTAID002 Provide basic emergency life support (PBELS). Needs to be updated every 3 years EXCEPT the CPR component which must be updated annually
This training course will provide you with the basic skills and knowledge to respond to an emergency situation at your Guide Unit, home or while out and about. You will learn to provide life support and the management of a casualty of any age until the arrival of medical assistance.
This course teaches special techniques for children and infants so is also ideal for new mums and all parents who want to be prepared with the skills and confidence to respond without hesitation in the case of an emergency.
Leaders who hold Outdoor Qualifications: e.g Camping and Water, must hold a full Provide First Aid qualification.

CPR - 9.00am – 11.30am $44.00
PBELS - 9.00am – 3.00pm $55.00
PFA - 9.00am – 5.00pm $66.00
NOTE: PFA and PBELS include CPR
BYO – lunch, morning and afternoon tea
BYO – your own mug and pen
Tea and coffee will be provided.
