Are you or do you know a Guide member who is a Student or interested in becoming a Student of Outdoor Education, Leisure Management or Environmental Science? Friends of Kindilan are offering a $1500.00 scholarship to a Guide who is a student in any of the above fields for the 2009 Academic Year. Applicants may be undergraduates seeking a degree, diploma or certificate, or post graduates seeking a masters degree, graduate diploma, or graduate certificate in any of the these fields.

 It all began with a few girls wondering why they weren’t able to join in the fun the scouts were having… Sound familiar? No this isn’t about the beginning of Guiding, it is about the Olave Program Participating in the Scouts Banana Bash- an opportunity to build and race an off-road car. After sorting through the insurance issues and gaining the official yes… the fun began. A group of 13 Olave Members turned a road registered VN commodore into the GUIDER REBEL!
